BOC Medical strives for continuous improvement. The latest examples of improved product technology are new oxygen cylinders; using carbon fibre and aluminium these portable cylinders are stronger yet much lighter than their steel counterparts. They contain more oxygen and are also easier to handle for ambulance crews and elderly patients. The oxygen levels can be monitored on a new ‘permanently live’ gauge, and a unique valve eliminates the need for a separate regulator.
