Liqvor Company was founded in May 1991 and became the first non-governmental enterprise in Armenia producing finished drug preparations. Over 16 years of its existence, Liqvor has been showing stable and dynamic growth, constantly expanding the assortment and export markets. The highly-skilled specialists and the company demands towards the production process ensure high quality of the products.
Liqvor Pharmaceuticals occupies a worthy place in the health system of Armenia. In some spheres - infusion therapy and ophthalmology - the company's preparations are considered to be basic drugs used in standard treatment. The governmental award "Mercury" received in 2005 for the contribution to the development of the national economy is another evidence of the high reputation of the company.
In August 2005, Liqvor signed a major investment agreement with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Within the framework of the agreement EBRD acquired 40% shares of Liqvor Pharmaceuticals.
Liqvor Pharmaceuticals is the member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yerevan and the Founder of the Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Importers of Armenia.
